Phirun’s story and experiences with Jombok Hoas
This program helped Phirum’s to improve and impacted his life. He has learned a lot of things from JBH. The spirit of confidence and building communication was really useful for him nowadays. He was thankful to CCF and JBH for creating this event for youths. He will use what he has learned from this program to lead our new generation and improve his community and country.
Engagement of grant improves agribusiness and production in Community
As one of the active producers in community, her name is Ly Kosal who is 32 years old living in Ou Romchech village, Trapang Chorng commune, Bakan districut. She married with Mr. Yun Kosal, have 3 children included 5 months pregnant. Their current job is farmer major as vegetable producer and her husband is construction worker which is addition job after have done farming.
Leakna’s impression about Jombok Hoas
When I participated in activities there at Jombok Hoas, I was very happy. Some activities were a bit scary such as the Giant Swing, the Monkey Swing, etc. Among those activities, I was interested in the Magic Nails. After the facilitator explained about the Magic Nails, I thought that no one could do it. In contrast, after seeing one boy do it, I realized that I was wrong! So, we can do everything through our struggle, commitment, and patience.

All of the above make her confident, able to speak in public and solve problems with people around her. During the training some participants cried, some were scared of heights, and others had fun. However, they all had good memories and wish to visit there again to get more training if there is an opportunity.

ADRA Responds to Banteay Meanchey Flood in Cambodia
Banteay Meanchey, Cambodia, November 20, 2020 – The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), in cooperation with the Cambodia Adventist Mission and local authorities, conducted food distribution, cash transfer, and rice seeds assistance to 575 families who are affected by the ongoing flooding in Kampong Svay and Phneit communes in Sereisophoan district, Russei Kraok commune in Mongkol Borei district, and Takong commune in Malai district of Banteay Meanchey province.
ADRA receives $2M CAD grant for COVID-19 response in Preah Vihear and Kampong Thom, Cambodia
