<\/p>\n

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Cambodia is looking for Cambodian national to fill the positions of Gender Officer<\/strong> from December 2024 to May 2025 and possibly extension and based in Preah Vihear and Steung Treng provinces with the Uniting Towards Gender Equality for enjoyment of women\u2019s and girls\u2019 Total Health and Rights (TOGETHER)<\/strong> project.<\/p>\n

Major Responsibilities
<\/strong>Project Planning\/Project Design:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Engage and involve in gender analysis and related assessments,<\/li>\n
  • Support in project design, project annual planning, activity planning and implementation including identification of gender risks and initiate mitigation measures,<\/li>\n
  • Develop gender equality strategy actions planning, and<\/li>\n
  • Support in gender equality capacity assessments, organizing GE training\/orientation in response to staff\u2019s needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


    Project Implementation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Promote gender transformative approaches and best practices in the project,<\/li>\n
    • Provide direct and ongoing technical support to local project manager, specialist and partners on implementation of project activities and corresponding gender equality strategy, budgeting and reporting requirements.<\/li>\n
    • Support CoLMEAL and the reviews field-based small grant proposals<\/li>\n
    • Attend\/lead regular project gender equality meetings both in-country and international.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


      Monitoring & Evaluation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Lead, engage and involve in field-based monitoring, reporting and evaluation of progress on gender equality results, compliance, review and assist in drafting project annual survey and project annual report.<\/li>\n
      • Prepare\/collect\/report on Gender Equality Strategy (GES) actions<\/li>\n
      • Consolidate GES report from output holders, specialists and partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


        Organizational Support:<\/strong> Support ADRA Cambodia as an organization in the development of gender equality and policy and procedures; Review and contribute to the project communications including publications, reports, web posts\/blogs, etc. to ensure gender sensitivity and ethics and to emphasize ADRA Cambodia\u2019s work in gender equality; \u00a0Represent ADRA Cambodia and participate in project events such as project coordination committees, donor meetings, sectoral groups, etc., and Participate in gender equality working groups and communities of practice.<\/p>\n

        <\/strong>Qualifications & Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • At least a BA\/BSc in Social Sciences or related field of studies<\/li>\n
        • A minimum of three years\u2019 experience in supporting and implementing projects related to GBV, SRHR, health, and nutrition<\/li>\n
        • Gender Technical Expertise<\/li>\n
        • demonstrated knowledge and skills in gender equality\/transformative experiences in project design, management, monitoring and reporting.<\/li>\n
        • demonstrated skills and experience in providing capacity building, designing and delivering gender equality training related to SRHR, GBV, health and nutrition<\/li>\n
        • Proficiency in English language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
