Pursat, Cambodia – June 25, 2025
The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Cambodia, in collaboration with the Provincial and District Governors of Pursat, held a dissemination workshop to mark the successful conclusion of the Best Community Household Opportunities through Improved Community Empowered Solutions (Best CHOICES) project.
Funded by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP), the six-year Best CHOICES project (2019–2025) aimed to improve health, nutrition, and child protection outcomes for vulnerable children and households across Pursat Province. The initiative focused on strengthening community resilience through service delivery, behavior change promotion, inclusive engagement, and the integration of gender equality, inclusion, and safeguarding practices.
To officially close the project, a dissemination and celebration event was held at the Pursat Riverside Hotel. The event brought together 47 participants (19 women, 28 men), including government officials, development partners, local authorities, project beneficiaries, and stakeholders.

- Opening remarks by H.E. Madam Pok Nady and Mr. Felipe Gonzalez
- Project overview and results presentation by Mr. Rith Saray, Project Manager, including a short project video
- Exhibition walkthrough, showcasing key interventions and outcomes
- Open-floor reflections facilitated by Mr. Try Kimlong, featuring voices from government representatives, community members, and stakeholders
- Beneficiary Q&A panel, providing space for direct feedback and community voices
- Certificates of appreciation distributed to key partners
- Closing remarks by District Deputy Governor Mr. Chea Henglong
The event concluded at 12:15 PM, followed by a networking lunch for all attendees.
Objectives of the Dissemination Workshop:
- Officially announce the project’s closure and share key results
- Hand over project outcomes to local authorities and partners to ensure sustainability
- Acknowledge and thank all collaborators, particularly the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), for their support
- Create a space for reflection and feedback from stakeholders and beneficiaries
