Summary of Deliverables
The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Cambodia is seeking a qualified Engineering Consultant to provide technical oversight and environmental compliance monitoring during the construction of a new Waiting and Delivery Room (58.75 m²) at Komphun Health Center. This initiative supports ADRA’s partnership with the Stung Treng Provincial Health Department to enhance maternal and child health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review construction and environmental plans, and clarify site requirements.
- Conduct an initial environmental site assessment and co-develop the Site Environmental Management Plan (SEMP).
- Conduct at least 4 monitoring visits throughout the construction phases.
- Evaluate technical standards and material quality in accordance with design specifications.
- Facilitate consultation with local authorities on safety, drainage, sanitation, and environmental concerns.
- Submit required site visit reports and final evaluation documentation.
- Ensure completion aligns with national construction standards and environmental compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in construction supervision, preferably health infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations in Cambodia.
- Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders and local contractors.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills in English and Khmer.
